A quick shout-out to the 2024 Buns & Roses Romance Tea for Literacy. It was my second time to attend this lovely and important event as it benefits the Richardson (Texas) Adult Literacy Center. RALC has provided instruction in English to thousands of adults over the years. I was so pleased to be with New York Times Bestselling author Nancy Naigle, who has over 30 romance titles in her portfolio. The very entertaining Maisey Yates, also NYT best seller, was the keynote. The room was wall to wall in elaborate fascinators and many in period costume (a la Bridgerton) which made the event even more fun and festive. I’m looking forward to next year already.
